What a night! Brandon Johnson has advanced to the April 4th runoff election to be the next Mayor of Chicago!
Together with the backing of a multiracial coalition of working people from every background and zip code across our diverse city, we achieved what many said was impossible.
We believe in and want a government that invests in people and Brandon Johnson is the leader who shares that vision with us.
- Brandon understands that investments in mental health services and good jobs are public safety investments.
- He knows that our communities need a working-family-friendly approach to inflation, affordable child care, and housing families can afford to move into and stay in, without being priced out.
- He’s ready to send the resources our communities so desperately need to truly address the root causes of crime and economic instability and deliver lasting results for a safer Chicago for us all.
Brandon will fight for us, no matter our race or what language we speak. Brandon has shown up for us through so many struggles, and we know he’ll keep showing up for us because he is one of us.
Brandon doesn’t just talk about change. He delivers real policies and approaches that represent our best hope for a city in which we can all thrive.
