Governor JB Pritzker on Covid Crisis: “Bad actors” in the nursing home industry will be held accountable

(April 20th, 2020) — Governor JB Pritzker’s stated during his daily press briefing that ALL nursing home staff and residents would be begin to receive Covid-19 testing to identify positive workers and residents in order to isolate known cases.
Over the weekend Governor Pritzker publicly released data of known Covid-19 cases at nursing homes and long term care facilities in Illinois. You can search for confirmed cases at your nursing home, broken down by county, by using the Illinois Department of Public Health website: http://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/long-term-care-facility-outbreaks-covid-19
