SEIU Healthcare Members Vote to Ratify New Agreement with IL Mentor by Sevita!

We’re excited to announce that our membership has approved the agreement we reached with IL Mentor by Sevita during our reopener negotiations— this new contract delivers real wins for our union family and reflects our collective strength and commitment to securing fair compensation for all.
Raises under our new contract will be reflected on our May 16 paychecks!
Here’s What We Won:
- Starting Pay Increase:
All employees hired on or after the date of this agreement will now start at $18.75/hour. - Guaranteed Wage Increases for Current Members:
Based on your seniority, here’s what you can expect:
- Hired Jan 1, 2024, or later: +$0.75/hour
- Hired Jan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2023: +$.095/hour
- Hired Jan 1, 2021 – Dec 31, 2021: +$1.05/hour
- Hired Jan 1, 2018 – Dec 31, 2020: +$1.25/hour
- Hired Dec 31, 2017, or earlier: +$1.50/hour
- Retroactive Pay:
All wage increases are retroactive to January 1, 2025 (or your start date if after that). Retro pay will be processed within 60 days of implementation following ratification.
