CCAP Home Child Care Providers: Your January Rate Increase!
As we always say, when we fight, we win!
Last year, SEIU home child care providers joined HCIIMK President Greg Kelley and Governor JB Pritzker to sign a historic contract that included a 30% cumulative rate increase over the life of the contract.
This contract came after years of attacks on our program that decimated public child care by making it inaccessible for parents and unsustainable for providers.
Our historic contract included 7 rate increases over the life of the contract – and January 2021 marks our 3rd rate increase! These rate increases should be reflected in your payment for services provider in January.

GROUP 1A – Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake & McHenry.
GROUP 1B – Boone, Champaign, Kankakee, Madison, McLean, Monroe, Ogle, Peoria, Rock Island, Sangamon, St. Clair, Tazewell, Whiteside, Will, Winnebago & Woodford.
GROUP 2 – Counties include all other counties not listed above.
