VICTORY at Aperion Care Capitol & Springfield
100% Voted YES to Approve Our New Contract!
By standing united in our union, LPNs at Aperion Care Capitol and Springfield won a strong new contract that includes higher wages, a 5-year wage scale with anniversary increases, and stronger language to protect us as we serve on the frontlines during COVID-19.
Workers showed they were willing to do whatever it would take to win, including go on strike with the delivery of a 10-day strike notice to management. By exercising our power, we won and built a stronger union at Aperion in the process.
“I’m so proud of all that we accomplished in this contract fight! We won many of our demands and it is a step forward for nurses. Next contract we will accomplish even more!”
