SEIU Healthcare Illinois Statement on 4th Ward Aldermanic Election Results 

Greg Kelley, President of SEIU Healthcare Illinois, issued the following statement upon the news of Lamont Robinson winning the election for alderperson of Chicago’s 4th Ward:

“Lamont Robinson has always stood with SEIU Healthcare members and the working people of Chicago. As a state representative, he has a proven track record working to protect working families in our city, and was on the frontlines of the fight to save Mercy Hospital. We know that Lamont will bring this track record with him as one of the new members of Chicago’s city council. We congratulate Lamont on his victory, and we look forward to continuing working hand-in-hand to advance racial, social and economic justice for working people in Chicago’s 4th Ward.”
