2019 Chicago Raids Map (Desktop)

There were at least 1,334 police raids in Chicago in 2019. There are many more raids in black and brown neighborhoods than in white ones. There were 112 raids in Ward 28 (represented by Jason Ervin) while there were zero raids in Wards 39 (represented by Samantha Nugent) & 43 (represented by Michele Smith). 43% of raids result in no arrest.

How to use this Map

  2. Click on the magnifying glass in the top left corner (after the title of the map “2019 Chicago Police Raids)
  3. Type in your full address. Press enter.
  4. It will take you to that address. Click on any purple area around the address on the map.
  5. You alderperson’s name, picture, and ward number will appear. Information about the number of raids there were in that ward and a link for to TAKE ACTION (send an email) will appear as well.
