After months of diligent negotiations advocating for every possible cent, the IL Mentor by Sevita Bargaining Committee (pictured above) is excited to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement with Management. This new wage agreement delivers real wins for our union family and reflects our collective strength and commitment to securing fair compensation for all.  

Here’s What We Won

Guaranteed Wage Increases for Current Members

Based on your seniority, here’s what you can expect: 

  • Hired Jan 1, 2025, or later: +$0.70/hour 
  • Hired Jul 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2024: +$.080/hour 
  • Hired Jun 30, 2020 or earlier : +$1.00/hour 

Retroactive Pay

All wage increases are retroactive to January 1, 2026 (or your start date if after that). 

Starting Pay Increase

All employees hired on or after the date of this agreement will now start at least at $19.35/hour. 

Ratification Needed For Increase To Go Into Effect

In order for these increases to go into effect, members of the Union must first ratify this agreement with a vote. Ballots can be cast in three ways: 

  1. Respond to the text message received directly from the Union asking you to vote.

The vote will take place on Wednesday July 8th and Thursday July 9th.
